Gled deg:)

Just know that the most important thing there is that you're gonna work a lot, so wear comfortable shoes, and there are lots of scooters ( des scoots, mais je ne sais pas comment traduire en anglais, aurait il qqn qui pourrait m'aider?)... Well, I don't quite remember, but see the vatican, it's worth it!

walk a lot, not work! sorry...

God tur! :)

What to do in Rome?

..do as the romans - i.e eat loads of delicious stuff topped with freshly shaved parmigiano reggiano, enjoy an ice cold birra moretti at the local piazza, do the dance on Piazza Navona with a bottiglia vino rosso in your right hand - while simultaneously contemplating the fact that Rome has lots of history, ancient sites and tourist attractions to offer - but unfortunately - lacks the edge and vibes that you remember you found in Bologna and Milano. Ciao e arrivederci.

hi!!! ^_^
i actually came accross you blog the other day and saved it to the favorites, sooo cute *_*
and i'm making mine just now lol

anyways
i'm from rome

its raaaining a lot these days but its rally worm during the day
i was in stockholm the other week and when i got off the plane i had to put a shor sleeved t shirt on, i was about to die of the heat

anyways
do all the turstic stuff in the day
go shopping in via del corso and piazza di spagna like everyone

i mean you have to see the places...

if u ant to see some vintage shops or mamybe just something more 'particular' you should go to via del governo vecchio which ur going to be near by when visting piazza navona

then while ur there u should look at the street around campo de fiori

its all really close

some nice cafes there too

in the evening you should go to trastevere, thats where all the 'young' people go... like from 17 to 30

on a saturday night its nice at this place in san giovanni area called 'circolo degli artisti'

anyways if u have any question just ask me anytime ;)

lol at that person.

i've only been to rome once and the only thing i remember is that i visited all of the tourist attractions by feet and in one afternoon. i suggest you do that on your first day, and spend the rest of your trip visiting those other places people have suggested.

"bon giorne"-it's mean good morning in italian.
so the only think that I can sugest for you is to buy a lot of clothes! I've seen here the lowest prices in
Europe at brands like H&M, Zara and MANGO. and you must taste the
ice-creams.
p.s. sry for my bad english

Rome is such a gReat city, especially for vintage shopping. I second Daria's recommendations. You really should go to Trastevere. There's lots og great restaurants, cafés, vintage shops and stylish italian folks there.

I'll tell you what you shouldn't do. Don't try and see all the things you "must" see in one short day. It'll be worse than all the hangover-sundays you ever had put together.

Seriously, don't.

Rome is a great city, to be honest: there's not a single place that's not worth visiting. I did extremely like the Fontana di Trevi area, though. Especially lovely in the evenings.
